What makes the GS 450h so special? It's the world's first high performance hybrid, luxury saloon and is unique in being the only vehicle in its segment that achieves a genuine balance of high performance, fuel economy and tax efficiency.
Its performance is comparable to that of a V8 petrol engine, offering a power output of 335bhp that achieves 0-62mph in 5.9 breathtaking seconds, faster than any other direct competitor.
Yet its fuel economy is more akin to a diesel engine, delivering combined fuel economy output of 35.8 mpg. And its carbon dioxide emissions are far lower than any petrol or diesel engined competitor. This puts the GS 450h in a BIK tax band of just 21% - compared to 34% of its nearest competitor - which can reduce a driver's tax burden by more than £300 per month when compared to a petrol alternative equipped to a similar level. The GS 450h also falls into the 17E insurance group (GS 450h SE-L is in 18E insurance group).
