Costs and Responsibilities

To ensure the smooth running and successful completion of the Apprenticeship, both
the Centre and Lexus Academy need to accept responsibility for a number of activities.
The cost to enrol an apprentice on to the programme is a one off payment of £500.
Some Centres find retention policies of value in emphasising mutual commitment and
creating loyalty to the Centre. These normally take the form of short term endowment
policies which are funded by the Centre for the benefit of the Apprentice on completion
of a specified number of years' employment - e.g. seven years. If the Apprentice
leaves the Centre before this time, the benefit of the policy falls to the Centre.
