PEACE OF MIND
One of the great things about driving a new vehicle is that you don’t need to worry about unforeseen costs if anything goes wrong – your manufacturer’s warranty will cover parts and labour if there are any problems.
Now we can offer you similar protection even if you drive an older vehicle. Whether or not you are the first owner, you can purchase an extended warranty for the next 12 or 24 months*.
If you bought new, and your vehicle is approaching the end of the 3 year manufacturer’s warranty**, now is the perfect time to extend your cover. If you bought an Approved Pre-Owned vehicle and your vehicle is approaching the end of its current warranty, you can renew your warranty cover now and continue to extend it until your vehicle is seven years old.
What’s more, the extended warranty package includes vehicle hire (up to £75 inc VAT per day for up to 5 days) and hotel expenses (up to £150 inc VAT) if needed, MOT cover and a bespoke RAC package including European assistance for when travelling abroad. Whatever model you drive, the extended warranty covers the cost of most parts and labour – just like the original warranty on a brand new vehicle – and offers all the reassurance and peace of mind that you expect from Lexus.
*In order to be eligible for Lexus Retail Warranty your vehicle must be a Lexus vehicle less than 7 years old (from date of first registration) with less than 140,000 miles at the start of the warranty. If you are renewing an existing extended warranty and providing there is no lapse in cover between the warranty being renewed and the new one, then the mileage limitation of 140,000 miles is waived. Vehicles with more than 140,000 miles at the end of the 3 years / 60,000 miles manufacturer warranty are not eligible. The vehicle must not be used for self-drive hire, competitive racing, private hire or driving tuition.
**Five-year hybrid component warranty. For hybrid models, certain components within the hybrid drive-train system have a five-year or 60,000 miles warranty, whichever comes first.
