Extraordinarily swift, 0 – 62 mph in under six seconds, and effortlessly smooth, the GS 450h is powered by Lexus Hybrid Drive, the innovative and intelligent combination of petrol and electric power.

The 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine is complemented by a high-performance electric motor resulting in V8-like performance - accelerate from 80 km/h to 120 km/h in less than five seconds. The GS 450h's fuel economy is improved and CO2 emissions are significantly lower than other premium sedans with similar power ouput.

At start-up and at lower speeds, progress is often completely emissions-free as the car is driven by electric power alone. As speed increases, the V6 engine seamessly takes over from the electric motor.
