TOUCH-SCREEN NAVIGATION

The IS takes in-car navigation to another level. Using DVDs to store map information for nearly all of Europe, the highly advanced system offers a dual map display - large-scale and small-scale. The 7"colour touch-screen, Electro Multi-Vision (EMV), display is intuitive to use, with crisp and easy to follow graphics.

You can tell the system where you want to go by address, stored destination or points of interest. The leading-edge software can offer you a variety of routes and will calculate your estimated journey time. Once you have selected your desired route, the system will seamlessly guide you through your journey.

In countries with Dynamic Route Guidance facilities, the navigation unit is constantly updated with the very latest traffic information, notifying you of congestion and delays and suggesting alternative routes.

Please note: The advanced Lexus navigation system is part of the multimedia and navigation package, available as a cost option for IS models.
