L-FINESSE ART EXHIBITION
Lexus has participated in the Milan Design Week since 2005. Each year it persues the L-Finesse message through different artists
At the 2009 Milan Design Week, Lexus exhibited an, L-finesse inspired peice of work by the highly acclaimed architect Sou Fujimoto. Entitled Lexus L-finesse ‘crystallised wind’, the art piece based on the Lexus LFA is a re-interpretation of the ambivalence of the Lexus ‘L-finesse’ design philosophy. The life-size model weighs an impressive 4.299kg, including the steel platform on which it is built. Lexus also displayed a specially designed furniture piece constructed from acrylic.
The exhibition ran between 22 and 26 April in Milan's Museo della Permanente art gallery.
