LFA WINS CLASS AT NÜRBURGRING
Lexus raced two LFAs at the 24-hour Nürburgring event held in Germany on 15/16 May 2010. LFA number 50 stormed to a class win – SP8 category for ‘near production’ vehicles – and finished 18th overall.
The gruelling 24-hour endurance race was held at the legendary 20km long Nordschleife circuit which embodies 80 years of motor racing heritage. In celebration, Lexus has created a Nürburgring package for LFA customers who are real track enthusiasts.
Aerodynamic performance is enhanced by increased downforce, output is boosted to over 570 hp and gearshift time is reduced to just 0.15 seconds. The LFA Nürburgring package is limited to 50 units within the total production run of 500.
