REMOTE TOUCH

Futuristic ergonomics ensure the “dual-zone cockpit” in the new RX significantly reduces the information overload so often experienced by drivers today.

The "display zone" features an 8" colour LCD multi-display screen set back in the dashboard for improved visibility and a multi-information display, featuring crisp white Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) technology. The driver uses the “operation zone” to seamlessly interact with the new RX. Intuitive access to, and control of, extensive vehicle information is provided via the multi-information toggle switch on the steering wheel and the Remote Touch system.

Remote Touch revolutionises the driver-vehicle interface. Easy to use, and conveniently positioned, Remote Touch is as natural to the driver's hand as a computer mouse. Ergonomically optimised to reduce eye movement and unnecessary cockpit distraction, Remote Touch enables drivers and front seat passengers to control many advanced features including entertainment, climate and navigation systems.

Just like a computer mouse, operating Remote Touch moves the pointer around the multi-display screen. When the pointer comes close to an icon, it is gently pulled towards it using a sensory reaction force. Simply click ENTER to action the command.
