Alex’s training schedule is constantly evolving, based on variables like the time of year, and how soon his next race is. The nearer the race, the less he trains, to allow him to be as fresh as possible on the day. In a full or ‘loaded’ week, Alex will train up to seven times, whereas in a low week, this is cut down to four training sessions. Below is an example of a typical training week for Alex.
