At Lexus Swindon, we are thrilled to announce that we will be continuing our partnership with Julia’s House Children’s Hospice as our Charity of the Year for 2025. Supporting such a meaningful cause has been a privilege, and we are excited to build on the wonderful success we have achieved together over the past year.
Julia’s House provides vital care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, as well as essential support for their families. Their team of dedicated nurses and carers offers a lifeline of compassion and strength, ensuring every family feels supported during their most difficult moments.
Reflecting on a Fantastic Year
This past year has been an inspiring journey. From taking on a Half Marathon Hike through the Wiltshire countryside to hosting a ‘Guess the Name of the Teddy’ competition and organising a charity car wash that raised £720, the Lexus Swindon team has fully embraced the chance to support Julia’s House. Thanks to the generosity of our team, customers, and the wider community, we’ve been able to make a real difference in helping this remarkable charity continue their vital work.
We also proudly supported the Julia’s House Wiltshire Christmas Tree Recycling Campaign and were delighted to see the Toyota and Lexus Community Fund pledge an impressive £2,000 to support the charities initiatives.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we head into 2025, our commitment to Julia’s House is stronger than ever. We have exciting plans to raise even more funds, ensuring they can continue their life-changing work for families in our community. By embracing the ethos of Kaizen – the philosophy of continuous improvement – we aim to build on the successes of 2024, refining our efforts and exploring new opportunities to make an even greater impact. Through creative fundraising events and ongoing support, we are determined to make 2025 our most impactful year yet for this partnership.
Jo Common, Business Development & Corporate Fundraiser for Wiltshire, shared her gratitude and excitement for the renewed partnership:
“Julia’s House supports the whole family and not just the seriously ill child – we’re there for parents, siblings and grandparents. We provide respite care for a few hours, a day or overnight in our hospices or in families’ homes. Though we receive just 8% Government funding, meaning we rely on the community for 92% of the money needed to keep providing our vital care.
We were therefore absolutely delighted when Lexus Swindon chose to continue our partnership throughout 2025. We had so much fun working with the team in 2024, and are excited to build on these plans together for the year ahead. Without the support of organisations like Lexus Swindon, we would not be able to run this critical service for the growing number of families in Wiltshire that depend on our care and support. So thank you to the whole Lexus team!”
How You Can Help
