MEET THE ALL-ELECTRIC UX

To create a feeling of seamless continuity, the All-Electric UX ‘Tazuna’ cockpit is inspired by the instinctive horse and rider connection. The effect gives the driver an excellent field of vision with a clear sense of the car’s dimensions. It also features a ‘seat-in-control’ concept that focuses major controls around the driver’s side of the cabin.

The smooth leather upholstery available on the All-Electric UX is inspired by ‘sashiko’, a traditional Japanese quilting technique which is also used in the making of martial arts uniforms. The quilted leather is decorated with perforation patterns that form mathematical curves and gradations in perfect alignment, enhancing the appearance of the seats. *Available on selected grades.

A relaxing silky white LED combining white light with ultra-pale gold light is available throughout the interior.

13-speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Surround Sound audio*. Developed by our exclusive audio partners, the system is optimised for the car’s interior architecture. *Available on selected grades.

The All-Electric UX offers a dashboard trim which draws on the grain of paper, from the Japanese ‘washi’ texture of the instrumental panel - familiar from the the ‘shoji’ paper sliding doors of traditional Japanese houses.

Our new Lexus Link+ app transforms the All-Electric UX into a connected car and elevates your entire Lexus ownership experience. Fast and intuitive to use, Lexus Link+ offers innovative EV services such as remote climate control and remote charging.

With wireless Apple CarPlay® and wired Android Auto®, All-Electric UX allows you to easily display and access some of your smartphone’s apps on the screen. A wireless charger* is also available to the front of the centre console which enables a portable device or smartphone to be charged by simply placing it on the charging pad, eliminating the need to connect a charging cable. *Available on selected grades.

With the All-Electric UX steering wheel, you’ll feel in control and also maximise the contact of the road ahead. With the opportunity to use all key features such as distance and cruise control at your finger tips.

When charging the All-Electric UX remotely, you will have the opportunity to check charging levels and range. When charging at home, it is possible to see when your car is fully charged or set a timer to ensure charging is completed before your chosen departure time.

Using the Lexus Link+ app, you will be able to control the climate and defrost the windscreen from the warmth of your home or workplace. With this, you will be able to schedule for planned departure time, with the opportunity to set a cool cabin on a hot day or defrost remotely on a cold morning.

Locate your Lexus in unfamiliar places, the Lexus Link+ app will turn on your vehicle hazard lights. Helping you to find your vehicle in the busiest of car parks.

Experience a smooth start to your journey with the Lexus Link+ app sending directions directly to your All-Electric UX navigation. Helping you to easily plan your route on the go or before you leave.

The Pre-Collision System on the All-Electric UX can detect pedestrians at night and bicycles during daytime. To achieve this, the camera sensitivity and dynamic range have been enhanced to help reduce accidents in the dark, for example, when a pedestrian in front of an oncoming vehicle is difficult to see due to the vehicle’s lights. Furthermore, the radar detection area angle has been widened, enabling bicycles to be detected.

Vehicle data is projected in colour directly onto the windscreen. The Heads Up Display, measuring 10.2-inch, lets you check data such as navigation commands, audio settings or safety features without taking your eyes off the road ahead. *Available on Takumi grade only.

For optimum safety when traveling at a consistent speeds, the system recongnise's the vehicle in front and maintains a safe distance. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control ensures you maintain a sufficient distance from any vehicles in front, by slowing down before any collision has the opportunity to occur.
