The RX is available as a Plug-in Hybrid, Self-Charging Hybrid or Turbo Hybrid, all of which boast efficient performance. There is no need to plug-in the RX Self-Charging Hybrid. Our Plug-in Hybrid has a pure-electric range of up to 42 miles* when it has been charged, switching to our Self-Charging Hybrid technology when the battery runs low.

    The Lexus RX is a Full-size luxury SUV crossover. The RX sits on a 2,850 mm wheelbase and is 4,890 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,695 mm high. Inside it’s spacious too. Developed for the RX models and installed under the rear seats, its high-performance lithium-ion batteries contribute to both the spacious interior and excellent driving performance.

    Yes. The RX is equipped with the latest Lexus Link Connect system, operated via a 14” touchscreen which includes the “Hey Lexus” on-board assistant.

    Smartphone integration is enabled using wireless or wired connections for Apple CarPlay®, and a wired connection for Android Auto®.​

    Plug-in hybrids can be charged by plugging them in, which increases the distance they can travel in electric mode only. They switch to hybrid mode when the battery runs low.

     

    Self-charging hybrids automatically switch between electric energy and a combination of petrol and electric energy, and there is no need to plug in.
