RZ RANGE
The RZ has a 71.4 kWh battery giving a maximum range of up to 271 miles^, more than adequate for a number of commutes, or for a longer distance journey.
Range is impacted by a number of factors, including outside temperature, use of climate control in the car, and journey type. Help to maximise your range by:
-Reducing the use of heating and air-conditioning. You can even pre-heat the car whilst still plugged in with the Lexus Link+ app - this will help making every journey more efficient as power is drawn from your charger (rather than the battery) to get the cabin to your desired temperature.
-Go gently on the pedal to improve energy consumption.
-Drive light, don't carry around extra weight in your RZ unnecessarily as this will reduce your range.

CONNECT ON DEMAND
Lexus Link + offers a range of convenient services that will enhance your RZ experience. Start or stop the battery charge and set-up a timer based on the lowest electricity rate, for example overnight at home. All designed to make your owning experience as simple as possible.
Lexus Link + will also allow from the phone to set the cabin temperature well in advance of any trips. Not only is it convenient to never have to sit on a cold seat, it is also more efficient and will help to optimise the real driving range.

You can charge whilst you are at home, or at a fast-growing number of locations when travelling.
There are three ways to charge:
Rapid (43kW to 50kW)
The fastest way to charge your Lexus RZ. With new chargers being added every week, there are over 12,000 public rapid charge points across the UK (Source Electric vehicle charging device statistics: April 2023 - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) (Opens in new window).
Fast (7kW to 22kW)
Much faster than a normal plug, dedicated EV chargers can be installed at home or you can find them in public and workplace car parks.
Slow (3.7kW)
You can even charge your Lexus RZ through a domestic 3-pin plug socket which is a much slower way to charge but can be convenient.
The Lexus Public Charging Network provides you with access to thousands of public chargers across the UK, using the Lexus Link + app. Find out more.
The RZ comes with a 3-pin AC charging cable for standard UK home sockets
and a mode 3 AC charging cable for use with public AC charge points
when on the go. All DC charging points already have a cable attached
meaning there is no need for you to use extra equipment. Any additional
cables can be purchased from your Lexus Centre.
