Yes.
While the RZ 350e utilises a 167kW electric motor driving the front wheels, the RZ 500e and RZ 550e all-wheel drive have DIRECT4 that feature a front and rear motor with both 167kW output. Power for both models comes from a next-generation Lithium-ion battery.
With no internal combustion engine, BEVs require more power to warm up the cabin. To counter this, the RZ offers clever features to keep occupants comfortable. Pre-heating or cooling the cabin during charging ensures a comfortable temperature at start-off. On cold days, switching the climate control to ECO can add range by focusing on passenger comfort instead of heating up the whole cabin.
As well as the state-of-the art electric drivetrain, the RZ offers clever electrified features like the dimmable (optional) panoramic roof that keeps passengers cool when the sun shines reducing load on the air conditioning unit. For cooler mornings, radiant heaters for driver and front passenger use less electricity than conventional heating systems.
The Lexus RZ is a fully electric crossover with an exterior slightly larger than the Lexus NX and an interior about the size of the RX. The RZ sits on a 2,850 mm wheelbase and is 4,805 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,635 mm high.

Lexus launched the RX 400h self-charging hybrid in 2005, introducing electrification in the luxury market. Three decades and 2.8 million Lexus hybrids later, today we continue to enrich our customers’ lifestyles with a complete range of electrified models.
Temperature is the most significant factor affecting the range of electric vehicles, with lower temperature reducing the estimated range. Other factors that can reduce range are excessive motorway driving, All Wheel Drive, and air conditioning use.
Lexus offers an 8 year / 100,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first) on all EV electric batteries. This can be further extended to 10 years / 600,000 miles (whichever comes first) to provide you with extra peace of mind.

The Lexus RZ comes with a 3-pin AC charging cable for standard UK home sockets and a mode 3 AC charging cable for use with your dedicated fast charger at home or public fast chargers when on the go.
All rapid charging points already have a cable attached meaning there is no need for you to use extra equipment. Any additional cables can be purchased from your Lexus Centre.
