Lexus Community Fund

The Lexus Community Fund is a programme of small grants up to £2,000 designed to help charities, schools, and community projects across the UK.

Since its inception in 2012, we have provided over £100,000 to over 70 organisations across the UK. Such an initiative allows us to reach communities based local to our head Office in Surrey, as well as supporting Retail Centres across the country in their efforts to enrich and improve their local area through charitable support.

Applications can be made through Retail Centres, Staff or by Community Organisations who are locally based to our Head Office in Epsom, Surrey.

This investment has helped a variety of causes, including set up of an environmental garden in schools, encouraged technical and engineering education for young people as well as supporting road safety awareness programmes. Please see below for some detailed examples of previous projects supported by the Community Fund.

How to use the fund?

If the charity or organisation is based in Surrey, they can reach out directly to Lexus’ UK head office in Epsom via General Enquiries in our Help Centre. Alternatively, Retail Centres across the UK are able to put forward applications for projects local to them, which will then be passed onto Lexus UK for consideration. All projects must fit certain criteria and will be scored by the CSR team to determine the amount of allocated funding.

Every life has a purpose

ELHAP serves hundreds of disabled children and their families each year and used their £2,000 grant to fund a playworker to specifically focus on creating nature play activities.

Oakleaf Enterprise

Oakleaf Enterprise works to provide support and guidance to adults managing their mental health. Using the grant, this charity established a Wellbeing Activities programme, offering daily access for those struggling with mental health to a wide range of classes specifically designed to build confidence and reduce isolation, including a weekly wellbeing café.

Chigwell Riding School

Chigwell Riding School used their grant to support an ongoing project that provides horse riding lessons for disabled and special needs children, which act as therapy and confidence building exercises.
